2. Internal Meaning of Isaiah, Chapter 2

1-5 The coming of the Lord, and a new heaven and a new church at that time, are openly treated of, (1, 12, 3)

6-9 because in the former church there is nothing but falsity and evil of falsity. (1, 3, 11)

10-18 The coming of the Lord is openly treated of; He will destroy all who are in the love of self and in the pride of their own intelligence. (1, 3)

10, 19-21 The last judgment is openly treated of, and the casting down of the evil into hell. (15)
